A Tribute to Angels Committee Chair James Rykowski and Vice Chair Lee Ann Vogt are pleased to announce the recipients of this year's Sister Mary Mechtilde Memorial Award are Dr. Joseph P. and Mrs. Diane Leberer and Dr. Joseph A. and Mrs. Patricia Ralabate.  This prestigious award is Kenmore Mercy Hospital's highest honor, established in 1980 by the Kenmore Mercy Foundation. It recognizes outstanding individuals who have demonstrated a dedication to community service, visionary leadership and the ideals of unselfish service towards others. These qualities were exemplified by Sister Mary Mechtilde O'Connor, RSM, foundress and first administrator of Kenmore Mercy Hospital.


In addition, the Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Nancy R. Dobson Treasurer and Trustee of Kenmore Mercy Foundation Board. The Lifetime Achievement Award honors past recipients of the Sister Mechtilde Award who continue to remain active and supportive of the Foundation, the hospital and the community today.


Join us for an evening of fine cuisine, raffles, silent and live auctions and fellowship as we pay tribute to these dedicated individuals and their determination to continue to benefit our hospital and our community.

Kenmore Mercy Foundation Golf & Wine Event 

 

The Kenmore Mercy Foundation Golf & Wine Event to benefit Kenmore Mercy Hospital, was held June 19 at Legends on the Niagara in Ontario, Canada.  The event, which includes two 18-hole golf tournaments & VIP Wine Tour & Tasting, was a major success.  The event raised over $147,000 [net of expenses] and will benefit the Foundation’s Grants to Hospital programs. Golfers and Wine Participants enjoyed lunch, participant gifts, a cocktail reception and dinner, along with a silent and live auction.  

Event chair Mark Keller of Keller Technology Corporation, along with the event committee are extremely pleased with the results. The tournament was sponsored by the Habib Family and other major sponsors included Keller Technology Corporation, the Penfold family, Dr. Thomas and Mrs. Kim Brewer, Southern Wine and Spirits and R&P Oak Hill Development, LLC.
