Kenmore Mercy Foundation Funds Staff Education
Each year, the Foundation funds $30,000 in conferences, classes and seminars which help Kenmore Mercy Hospital Associates enhance their skills and knowledge in their specific field of work.
The Foundation approved funding for Mary LaMartina and Kristen Parisi who attended the AACN National Teaching Institute and Critical Care Exposition in May. In 2012, the Beacon Award of Excellence was awarded to the Hospital's ICU; KMH is one out of five hospitals in NYS to have received the recognition.
Grants were awarded to Matt Clemens who attended the Lumbar Spine Conference, Joseph Lorenzetti attended the Clinical Orthopaedic Society Annual Meeting and Joseph Baumgarden attended the National Qigong Associate 18th Annual Conference.
The Foundation awarded Naheed Ali-Sayeed a grant to attend the Clinical Nutrition Management Symposium.
