2012 Golf & Wine Event
Golf Tournament Exceeds Goal
The Kenmore Mercy Foundation Golf & Wine Event to benefit Kenmore Mercy Hospital, was held June 21 at Legends on the Niagara in Ontario, Canada. The event, which includes two 18-hole golf tournaments & VIP Wine Tour & Tasting, was a sell-out. The event raised over $156,500, surpassing it’s 2012 goal. Golfers and wine participants enjoyed lunch, participant gifts, a cocktail reception and dinner, along with a silent and live auction.
Event chair Jay Smith of Rural/Metro Medical Services, and co-chair Robert Beck of John W. Danforth Company, along with the event committee are extremely pleased with the results. “We are excited that, once again, the event exceeded our expectations and that we were able to enjoy a wonderful day while supporting Kenmore Mercy Hospital."
The tournament was sponsored by John W. Danforth Company and other major sponsors include the Penfold family, Petri Baking Products, Inc. and Rural/Metro Medical Services.
