Architects rendering of the new Emergency Department to be built at Kenmore Mercy Hospital

The Board of Trustees of the Kenmore Mercy Foundation will raise $1 million in support of the new Emergency Department at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. As the Foundation moves forward in their efforts to reach the goal, the Campaign Committee, chaired by Michael Landi, M.D., CEO of the Brain and Spine Center, is in the process of submitting requests to Kenmore Mercy Hospital physicians, staff, corporations and the entire community.

The redevelopment of Kenmore Mercy Hospital's Emergency Department was in response to changing patient demands, to accomodate new technology and reduce wait times and overcrowding. The goals of redevelopment include providing more efficient and effective emergency care services which will meet the current and future needs of our community.

The Emergency Department groundbreaking took place March 29, 2012 and construction is anticipated to take 12 - 15 months to complete.
