Craig A. Harris
Craig Harris currently serves as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Canisius High School. As the leader of the institutional advancement team, Craig’s primary responsibilities include alumni activities and services, annual giving, capital campaign management, communications, major gift fundraising, marketing, planned giving and special events.
Prior to his role at Canisius High School, Craig was the Associate Vice President of Development at Hilbert College in Hamburg, New York from 2006-2013.
Since moving to WNY in 2006, Craig has been actively involved within the community in many different capacities. Along with serving as a trustee on the Kenmore Mercy Foundation Board, Craig currently serves on the board of directors for the Valley Community Association and is the treasurer for the board of the Western New York chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Over the past few years, Craig served as a board member for the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and was a long time member of their government affairs committee. Craig served as chair of the Frank Lloyd Wright Graycliff Conservancy Development Committee, was director on the Robert A. Davis Memorial Scholarship Board at Buffalo State College, chaired the Crusade Against Impaired Driving Fundraising and Public Relations Committees, was vice chair of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Charities 2011 Appeal, was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Strategic Planning Committee, Buffalo Citybration Planning Committee and the Buffalo Junior Chamber of Commerce. Craig also served as a tournament marshal and rules official for the Metropolitan Golf Association.
Craig earned a master's degree in student personnel administration from Buffalo State College and a bachelor's degree in communications from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
He resides in Lake View, N.Y., with his wife, Denise, and children, Abigail and Andrew.
