The Sister Mary Mechtilde Memorial Award
The Sister Mary Mechtilde Memorial Award was established in 1980 by the Kenmore Mercy Foundation. The award honors outstanding individuals in the community who have demonstrated a dedication to community service, visionary leadership, excellence in medical care and the ideals of unselfish service towards others – qualities exemplified by Sister Mary Mechtilde O’Connor, RSM, foundress and first administrator of
The Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award was created in 2008 to honor a past recipient of the Sister Mechtilde Award who continues to remain active and supportive of the Foundation, the hospital and our community today. The presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award is a fitting tribute to individuals whose years of unwavering spirit and determination continue to benefit our hospital and our community.
