  James M. Millard

 

James M. Millard is President and Chief Executive Officer of Kenmore Mercy Hospital.  He came to this position in 2009 from St. Joseph Hospital were he also served as President and CEO.  James is responsible for developing and implementing the hospital’s strategic plan, annual work plan, capital budget and operating budget.  He is administratively responsible for all of the day-to-day operations at Kenmore Mercy Hospital as well as his position as a member of Catholic Health’s Senior Management Team.

Jim obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the State University of New York at Buffalo.  In 1987, he started his career with Catholic Health as the Director of Pharmacy at St. Joseph Hospital in Cheektowaga.  In 2007, Jim continued his education and received his Masters degree in Business Administration from Medaille College. 

Jim is involved in numerous professional & civic affiliations, as well as his involvement as a member of the Kenmore Mercy Foundation Board of Trustees.  He is the current Chairman for the Western New York Healthcare Association & has also held positions as Secretary, President-Elect and President for the Western New York Hospital Pharmacists.  He has held the position as Delegate for the New York State Council of Hospital Pharmacist & has also been actively involved with the Hospital Association of New York and the Elma Planning Board.

Since becoming President and CEO of Kenmore Mercy Hospital and joining the Kenmore Mercy Foundation Board; Jim has been a valuable asset to the Foundation.  He has provided the Foundation with much of his time, talent, and financial support.
